Installing on macOS
Download DunneWrite for macOS and install it.

DunneWrite for macOS runs on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. It's free to download and to write with; a licence turns on the AI features.
- On the download page, choose macOS (Apple Silicon) for an M-series Mac or macOS (Intel) for an older one. If you're not sure, open Apple menu ▸ About This Mac: a Chip line starting "Apple" means Apple Silicon.
- Open the
.dmgand drag DunneWrite into Applications. - Open DunneWrite from Applications. The app is signed and notarized by Apple, so macOS opens it after asking once whether you want to open an app downloaded from the internet.
To check the file before you open it, run shasum -a 256 followed by the file
name, and compare the result with the checksum on the
download page.
