DunneForge is an AI-assisted virtual-production pipeline for Unreal Engine, covering the craft side of filmmaking: lighting, staging and cinematography, sound, visual effects, and production management.
It has no published documentation yet. This page exists so the product line is described honestly rather than to announce anything.
Where it sits
DunneForge and DunneWrite share an origin. When DunneWrite was forked off in June 2026, the prose-writing concerns went with it and the filmmaking craft stayed here. DunneForge continues independently.
Some of that craft knowledge is being reoriented in both directions at once: DunneWrite is gradually turning cinematic technique into prose-writing advice, while DunneForge continues to apply it to virtual production directly.
