Calendar canvas

The Calendar canvas puts dates and events on a page.

It is not a personal calendar application and it does not sync with one. It is a calendar about the page it is on — a project schedule beside the project notes, a chronology beside the research it came from.

Navigation

Select the canvas and press Enter to move into it. Inside, navigation is by event: the arrow keys move between events rather than between arbitrary grid positions, because an event is the thing you actually want to reach. Escape leaves the canvas.

Controls

The Calendar is one of two canvas kinds that can optionally show its controls on the canvas itself rather than only in the global toolbar. That is a setting, not the default — see Toolbars for why the default runs the other way.
